Having successfully stitched together a few sequences over the past year, I'm wondering if there are certain common print dimensions that I should be aiming for when sizing my images. I imagine something like 8 X 36" or 12 X 48" would be in the ballpark.  I guess I'm trying to avoid taking a tape measure to the next panoramic shot I see at a craft show. But I could ask. Until then, I'll ask you folks.

I would think you can figure that if your print is three times wider than it is tall, that would be the bottom of the range (say 8x24).  As far as standard sizes, you can go to your local frame shop, and confir with them on what frame sizes they sell for whatever size print.  I myself don't worry about a standard size because I'm more concerned with how the cropping affects the overall image, like "Can I get rid of that nasty looking parking lot in the foreground?".  And "Does the 'Rule of Thirds' really apply here?".
