Oh my, that first shot is a winner!

I just got myself the newer version of that lens of yours.

Got it for the Fuji S3 Pro, but it's perfectly at home on the F3, like so:

I just hope they don't degrade the optical design/formula in the name of manufacturing cost  rolleyes

These are all good suggestions.  I hesitate to do so, but let me also recommend a guy on ebay http://myworld.ebay.com/heavystar/. He sells some very nicely made lens hoods for very good prices.  His service was excellent.  I got a vented hood for my J8 and another for my Canon QL17.  Both were very nice.  (My hesitation is because I've had very indifferent luck through ebay, not because of him.)

Yeah, I just love the 24mm.  I have a 24mm Ai Nikkor and also the 24-50mm AFD Nikkor.  If I only have one lens, let it be the 24mm.  Also have a 50mm for my RZ67, basically the equivalent to a 24mm on for the 6x7.

Scott - after a Retinette 1B, I started out in life with a Nikkormat.  Congratulations.  Your work with that 24 is impressive.  Keep going, keep in close and keep posting.

Oh yes, the 24/2.8 Nikkor will make you a believer in Nikon! It's one of their finest accomplishments in optics.

If you already don't believe in Nikon then you will never believe in anything but that you can't leave the trailer park because your mother needs you. Smiley
