Thought I should pass this on. I happened to be perusing B&H's film offering, and was very surprised under the Kodak listing to see several 620 films available and even more surprised to see one of their films available in 828.

Here's the link to the film page:  http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?ci=2545&N=4288589726+4289268849

That's not a bad price for the Ekfe 100 in 127, but I wouldn't call the rest of the selection "cheap".

I hate to bust anyone's balloon here, but I must ask how much a single roll of 620 costs?  Last time I checked (and I disremember who was selling it), it was going for upwards of $12.99.

828 film, that's a different story.  You could re-spool 35mm film onto an 828 reel (and I have), but it's not the same thing.

P.S. I think it's an in-house deal, the 620 film, and it's on a plastic spool that can't be re-used (the spindle holes get stripped out).

I see unperforated 100 foot rolls of Porta NC 160 on the evilbay all the time to respool for 828 and it it not all that hard to re spool 120 to 620 and Pete I had a few old stripped plastic spools in 620 and I just drilled them out and put a small brass fitting in the end.

As of January 1, 2009 Film For Classics stopped selling direct and started selling through B&H in NY, and a dealer in each of Chicago and Denver.

Larry, you're cleverer than I am.  I just bought more 620 cameras to build up my spool collection.  Smiley  What a fool I've been!

Bill -- it was Film for Classics, wasn't it?  I knew it wasn't B&H originally, but I couldn't remember who sold it.

It takes me less than two minutes to respool 120 film onto 620, so I'll stick with that method and save beaucoup bucks.
