Taken at Lowell Point near Seward, Alaska, this was done in Photoshop Elements 6.0 from five exposures using Minolta SLR with tripod and 50mm lens on Velvia 100 film.

I sometimes hate the size restriction on images here.  This deserves to be BIG.  Awesome!

Try going to this URL for a larger image. Ten put your pointer on the image and on the left side you'll be able to zoom to 100%

Alaska is sure a great place to visit.  I have an old college room mate that lives in Anchorage.  Spent a week there back in the early 80's (my how time flies).  As I tell people, I spent a summer in Alaska, it was a wonderful afternoon.  For a whole week in July, the temperature broke 70F just one afternoon.  The good point, it only rained one day.

It's almost impossible to take a bad picture in Alaska, the place is beautiful.  I have pictures of Portage Glacier taken from the end of the lake.  Today you can't even see the glacier from that point.

Nice, Tom.  Endless mountains, seamlessly depicted.
