Well not retired as it is just an extended vacation under the Obama share the wealth plan. They took my $20.00 an hour private contract job and turned it into a $13.00 government job. I can get $12.00 an hour on unemployment for 99 weeks and during that time have fun shooting and maybe start to look for another job when I am good and ready after the winter.

The thing is it is costing the tax payer more to pay those people $13.00 an hour that it was costing them to pay a contractor to pay $20.00 not to mention I was Union and the new GS guys can not be in a real union.

Thanks for looking at my stuff as I keep trying to improve and not just in a traditional way.

Larry they are all so bloody good.  The clarity, the quality, the skies (and without filters I would guess?).  I wish I could see that sort of stuff in my 35mm shots.

So what are the Rollei 80s?  I am guessing that is the focal length ...  is it a 6x6 camera?

I have an old Rolleiflex 2.8 which caused me to meet Wayne and find this forum - and you are getting me all steamed up to haul it out!

keep on truckin'

Rollei 80S is a film, it is an aerial film that is cut and re spooled into 35mm and 120. It has extended red sensitivity and is almost into the infrared spectrum. Yes no filters and those were shot on an old Nikon N90 with a 18-35mm Sigma lens. and some with a Nikor 50mm 1.8.

Anyone can do it you just have to learn your film and developer and then know how to enlarge or scan...

Thanks Thanks real huge as it is a rough week and you made my day.

Hang in there Larry
Churchill once quoted poem by (I think) your robert frost about "comes silentflooding in the main"
which was a reference to the tide turning, when you least expect it, and can't notice it.
Nice poem. Google those words and it will probably turn up. I've had to use it myself plenty of times.

Thank you for that information.
Have used it abit in 120, so 4x5, and I have just started in that, will be lovely =)
And it will probably not be out before I'm a little bit more comfortable with the format, so even better =)
