OK, not completely true. I am keeping my Oly OM2n since it was my first camera. All else is going. I just have to much equipment laying around that I don't use. And more importantly what I have is not to my needs. Long story short I went to rolling thunder last weekend and brought the 40d with me. Took 4 shots and just didn't want to lug that thing around any more. My shooting has moved to more of a grab PS/M4/3rds type of thing I feel. So I ordered a Panasonic G2 and am going to give it a good go. If I want to go back to Canon I would want a 7D w/ the 24-105 lens and would have dumped my gear for that as well. Also ringing in my head is my rental property in Florida ripping into my wallet each month. I Finally have a stable tenant and things are back in line but I have accumulated some CC debt. Not looking for sympathy here I am still keeping my large gut full of food and have not had to change my lifestyle at all. I just am the type that does not like cc debt and will clean it up with stuff around the house I am not using.

Because this is my favorite photo forum I will post everything here first since I know you all will appreciate it. From here it will go off to Fredmiranda.com where I know the Canon stuff will move quickly. Here is a short list of what is coming hopefully starting tonight:

Canon 5D, 40D, 1d, 420ex, 400 5.6L, 24-70 2.8L,  100 2.8 macro, 85 1.8, 50 1.4, 70-200 4L 28 2.8. Leica RB system. Pentax 6x7, Bronica 645 /2 lenses, Hassy ELM with lens, some folders, Nikon F3, Nikormat and some nikon glass, 4x5 system, 2x3 system Leica M3, Bessa R and several CV lenses, Canon FD system. Several Alian Bees and modifiers....

As you can see I have to much for anyone to deal with and it should go to hands of people that will use it. My thinking is I want to hold on to a few things and am going to let what doesn't sell decide what that is. Kinda strange but if it all goes and I have the Panny and my Oly I will be happy for the year. Then most likely the evil B&S forums will bite me again Smiley

So you'll list this in the "For Sale" forum?

I can sympathize - I'm pretty much only shooting the IIIf & the FTbN anymore. Of course,  I could stand to find some FD glass for that FTbN of mine. Not that I can afford it ... :banghead:

I'll keep an eye out for your ad anyway. Just in case... Wink

Yeah, I'm kinda in the same boat.  When I do get a chance to shoot, I've got too many systems to choose from.  So I've decided to sell my Bronical SQA and my 4x5 outfit and buy a single Mamiya RZ system to replace both with.  Hopefully this will simplify my life, at least photgraphically speaking.

I have started posting some stuff finally. Please correct me if anyone thinks my prices are out of whack. I am looking to make fair deals for both ends of these transactions and some of this stuff is hard to figure a price on. I will be honest and I have priced some stuff closer to market value and some stuff more to move. If it is closer to market value it's because well, I am more attached to it. It is still for sale but hey, it is what it is:).

I am only listing these for the 48 continental United States. I know this will frustrate some but I have just had to many problems trying to mail out of the country. Sorry but I lost out on a woodworking tool I tried to ship overseas and it cost me.

My plan of attack is to post every single item I have here first. Most likely with the best deals here. What does not move here will go to Fredmiranda.com (Canon and Leice stuff), pixelburners.com for alien bees stuff and then off to ebay for anything still left. I know some stuff will not get bid all the way through and that stuff will just be mine for a while with one exception.

When this is all over with I will choose one or two items (depending on what is left) and hold a nice little auction here with all proceeds going to Craig for giving all of us this forum and me a place to do this. So I don't know what it will be yet but it will be coming sometime in July I guess Smiley. If on the odd event that everything sells I will make a nice little donation to the site if I don't have something to auction. But the auction thing sounds like more fun and I really doubt all will sell. So keep an eye over at the for sale page as new things will pop up every couple of days.

Also I did get a few PM's from this post and will reply to them today if I have not already.... Thanks, Griz.

I have not forgotten about his. Honestly the lack of results from the last batch has me re thinking things a little. I do know my Canon and CV stuff will get bids but was kinda surprised at the lackluster responses. Damn recession is kicking all of our asses I guess Sad.

More stuff coming this weekend..Griz.

I think that is exactly right. Caution seems to have seeped into everything. My wife and I have been going back and forth on buying a car for about a year now. I suspect that we might finally have it all sussed out in the next year. Or two. rolleyes
