Revisiting a negative from last year, I came up with two slightly different versions. Which do you prefer, and why.

Bottom one because there seems to be more mid tones and the contrast is a little more.

You would have to compare the prints, but I'd also choose the second version.

IMHO the subject does not benefit from the reduced tonal palette in the first version, even if the additional contrast may introduce a few distractions in the second one. Very nice shot BTW.

The second one is my preferred version as well. Some of the blacks get pretty dark, and I worried about getting too much contrast. Glad others agree with my choice.
