They really are amazing and are technically superb. They struck me as a mirror into another world, one that looks just like ours did when I was a kid only somehow different. Perhaps it is because objects become unmoored in time and space with no people next to them.

This is spectacular work. Not a complaint here, but I wonder if he ever models the family cars of the era, the ones with the rust and grime on them? In my part of the USA, very few people drove these ultra-chrome types he shows, like the Chevy Nomad wagon, the convertibles, and the big-fin Plymouth Fury.

They are very well done indeed. There were many of these cars in the 60's and 70's in Baghdad as Taxi cabs. The Impala was a favorite of cab drivers. There was also the Galaxi with its huge engine. Buiks were also very popular then.
