Please look at this, not with a photographer's technical eye, but from the viewpoint of a client, for whom this photographer (me) was attempting to capture a special moment: It looks darker here than it does here. Maybe that's just me. I look forward to your comments, thank you in advance.

these are always special moments..and very nicely treated. however, as a photog...that is my opinion... asking if the clients will like it is a subjective question... aesthetically there is nothing about it not to like;it's an intimate moment captured beautifully. but the client may have different expectations... but i don't think your client will be disappointed........

Kalle, Larry, Rose, Kirk: thank you! So many of the others seem to be overexposed, with blown highlights, and as I was going through them I was beginning to panic, then I saw this one and it seemed perfect to me. Very sweet, and touching. I'm so glad you agree.

i like it dark
agreed. the way her hair merges into the dark background is very nice, and serves to emphasize her torso as the centre of attention. plus she looks like shes making 'kissy face' at her tummy. oh, and theres an echo between her tummy and her forehead

...I didn't hear the echo when I took the picture, Sebastian. Thank you. Serves to confirm what I was hoping myself, that is, hoping I was right about how I felt about it.

Very nice shot of a very round belly!
(Grandma always told me that unless you actually see a baby exiting her body, you NEVER assume a woman is pregnant)

UPDATE: the client called today to place her order, and this one is among her choices, so that's a good thing. Thanks, everybody, for your input!
