For those of you who haven't yet found a way to use your old camera's meter, or old hand-held light meter, because it took mercury batteries, and hey! you can't buy them in civilized countries anymore! let me highly recommend the "Interslice Tri-Dot" battery cover, made by Jon Goodman of Dallas, Texas.

A lot of you have recommended Mr. Goodman before, but let me add my own endorsement of his product here.  I bought two of the covers for my Gossen Luna-Pro and now it works like a dream.  Zinc-air 675 batteries fit inside them, and they're not $5.00 a piece like some of those little batteries, so there's another bargain, but I digress.

Jon maintained friendly communication all the way thru the sale (he sells on ebay but I bought outside that venue) and guaranteed my satisfaction.  I couldn't be more pleased -- and an added bonus, as if that weren't enough, I saved more than $15.00 over B&H's conversion thingy!

Three cheers for Jon Goodman!

(Sorry stole that pun from "Animal Crackers", q.v.)

Most of us here have a little bit of Jon Goodman in one or another of their cameras.

I'll probably need one sooner or later for my Rollei 35.
